Humboldt
The Humboldt is a relatively slow and shallow, low-salinity, northward flowing cold-water current, up to over 900 km (550 mi) wide. The Canary Current is part of the North Atlantic Gyre; the Malvinas flows along South America's east coast; the Gulf Stream flows along the east coast of North America.
