Egypt's pharaohs of the Twenty-fifth Dynasty, the so-called Black Pharaohs, ruled Egypt from their home kingdom of Kush in Nubia, present-day Sudan. They unified Lower Egypt, Upper Egypt, and the Kushite empire, and ruled for about 90 years.
