Tin(Sn) coating
Brass is made of Copper and Zinc(60-80% copper + 20-40% Zinc)
When a brass utensil used for cooking purpose ... The copper present in the utensil reacts with organic acid present in the foodstuff. To avoid this Tin coating is used.
