CSaudi Arabia

Correct Option: 4

Shibam is an ancient city, which was the capital of the Hadhramaut (or Hadhramout, Hadramawt or Ha?ramut) area at least 1,700 years ago. The skyscraper apartments date from about the 16th century and are built from mud, some of them being over 30 m (95 ft) high. They still form a living town; it was named by a 1930s western explorer "the Manhattan of the desert".
