I.N.S Chakra is the first Atomic Submarine of India.
It was launched as K-152 Nerpa in October 2008 and entered service with the Russian Navy in late 2009.
K-152 Nerpa named as INS Chakra II on
4 April 2012 at a ceremony in Visakhapatnam.
The INS Chakra joined the Eastern Naval Command at Visakhapatnam.
