Ranbir Kapoor is an Indian actor and producer. The son of actors Rishi and Neetu, and the grandson of actor-director Raj, Kapoor pursued film-making and method acting at the School of Visual Arts and the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute, respectively.
He is named after his grandfather Raj Kapoor, whose real name was Ranbir. Raj is the middle name of all Kapoor brothers.
Ranbir happens to be the first male from the Kapoor clan to graduate Class 10 and finish college.
