si_Periodicity tells about the period in terms of radio frames which helps the UE to read the required SIB. The value of this parameter is used for calculating the Radio frame where SI will be received.

Refer this link: http://lteinwireless.blogspot.in/2011/06/all-about-sibs-in-lte.html

You will get good idea of System information mapping.

Please correct me ,If I am wrong.

Periodicity means occurance and following is the schedule -
a) MIB is transmitted at the fixed cycles (every 4 frames starting from SFN 0)
b) SIB1 is transmitted at the fixed cycles (every 8 frames starting from SFN 0).
c) All other SIBs are being transmitted at the cycles specified by SIB scheduling information elements in SIB1

Let me know if you are looking something different.

I was going through SYNC protocol specification i.e 25.446 and stopped at Timestamp field since there were two terms (synchronization sequence and synchronization period) mentioned and I could not understand.
Can someone please explain these two terms and tell me what is the significance of timestamp at eNodeB when an SYNC PDU receives over M1 interface ?
